Both JV and Varsity teams are currently in the middle of the Blackhawk Cup Playoffs so dates for evaluations are still not finalized. Please check backfor updates to the schedule.

Zach Kalter Named to the 2012 Amateur Hockey Association All-State 1st Team
Zach Kalter, Captain of the Varsity HP Giants Hockey Team, has been named to the 2012 AMATEUR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION ILLINOIS ALL-STATE 1st team!
This is a special honor to Zach Kalter, his family and also to HP Giants Hockey.
AHAI has announced that the 2012 AHAI Boys High School All-Star Teams will play at the AHAI Hockey Center in Bensenville on Monday, February 6, 2012, at 8:35 p.m.
Parents, friends and teammates are more than welcome to attend and watch Zach play at the AHAI Hockey Center.
Zach, we hope that you will enjoy the experience of representing the Giants and HPHS. You should be very proud of this selection, and of your accomplishments. Your selection is a tribute to your hard work over the past four years, and we thank you for being a positive role model for our club.
Once again, on behalf of HP Giants Hockey, congratulations to Zach and to the Kalter famliy!
Varsity Goalie Michael Gordon Receives MVP Honors During All-Star Game
Congratulation to varsity goalie Michael Gordon, who received MVP honors for Metro North’s blue team during Sunday’s All-star game. Michael was stellar in goal, facing 15 tough shots and stopping ‘em all during the 1st period.
Giants Varsity and JV Teams Land in Top Brackets for Metro North Playoffs
Come Support Your Giants During Playoffs
Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams landed in the Scholastic Playoff Division (top bracket) for Chicago Metro North Playoffs.
The varsity team earned their spot in the top bracket by having a 15-3-4 record in Metro North League play.
The junior varsity team posted a 10-8-2 record in league play to place them in the JV Scholastic division.

The games are being held on Sunday, January 29th in Northbrook. The Junior Varsity game begins at 6:00 PM. The Varsity game is at 7:45 PM. Please come out and cheer on your favorite players.

Celiac Skate was an event that was founded six years ago to raise awareness and funds for Celiac Disease Research. It is a fun event and we hope you can join us this year!
