Highland Park Giants

Welcome to the 2012 Spring Hockey Registration with the Highland Park Giants.

Highland Park Giants Family,

The Giants will be participating in the Illinois Spring Hockey League and the 11th Annual Wolves Cup tournament in 2012 and we are looking for new and returning players at the High Varsity and Junior Varsity levels.

The ISHL will offer a regular season of eight to ten games between April 1st and May 31st.  The league is also discussing possible end of season tournament options, with plans to be finalized at a later date. Teams scheduled to compete include: New Trier, Loyola, Glenbrook South, Glenbrook North, Stevenson, Evanston, and more.

The Wolves Cup tournament will be held April 12-15, 2012 at Glacier Ice Arena.

PLAYER TRYOUTS
There will be two combined tryout sessions held at Centennial Ice Arena :
Dates are:
March 11: 7:40 PM – 9:00 PM
March 18: 7:10PM – 9:40 PM
Teams will be picked before March 23rd

SPRING SEASON STRUCTURE
Giants practice schedule for the Spring season is tentatively as follows:

Varsity: Tuesdays & Sundays
Junior Varsity: Thursdays & Sundays

Besides practices and Spring League / Wolves Cup games, there may also be practice games scheduled with local teams during the season.

COST & PAYMENT
Fee for the Spring season is $550 per player, and includes pre-season evaluations, practices, practice games, Spring League and Wolves Cup games/tournaments. If your son is interested in playing Spring League with the Giants, please complete this online registration tool below by March 10, 2012.

Once your online registration is completed, you should mail your Spring payment of $550 on or before March 11, 2012 to Ben Block at the address below.  Upon receipt of payment, your son is welcome to attend tryouts.
